Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor, best well-known for his part in the well-known television series Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. The first time he became interested in acting was when he was in college. He studied acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. Though he's appeared in films and in television shows, it is the actors portrayed in small screen that has earned him fame. The actor is able to play characters from both the bad and good aspects in the law enforcement system. He has the ability to draw the attention of viewers effortlessly. He was the voice of a serial killer in his first television series project however he later chose to play the role that of a NYPD detective. In recognition of his performance on the smaller screen, he's been nominated many times for the highly coveted Emmy Awards. The piercingly blue eyes of his eyes are thought to be the most appealing aspect of his appearance. These have been used to depict rough characters and make them more appealing. People's magazine's 2006 list of Sexiest Men Alive included him.
